Abstract EN

This study aims to shed light on the role of fiscal policy in the economy as one of the most important tools to achieve economic stability.

for this purpose, we will start first by presenting the general characteristics of fiscal policy in Algeria and the tools for its application, then tracking and analyzing the developments of the most important macroeconomic performance indicators (unemployment, inflation, economic growth and balance of trade).

finally, an econometric study using a vector autoregressive model to determine the most influential policy tools and the size of their impact for each variable.
