Abstract EN

Family counseling is important in programs for the care of the hearing impaired, and as the family is a source of some of the problems of the hearing impaired, providing programs to their families contributes to reducing those problems.

The current study comes to propose a conception of a family counseling program to avoid social maladaptation among this group.

The study relied according to the visualization on the experimental approach with two control and experimental groups to verify the effectiveness of the program and to reveal the differences in the level of social adjustment between the control and experimental groups [25 people].

The results of the proposed vision were: Building a social adaptation questionnaire and calculating its psychometric properties.

Building sessions of the proposed family counseling program to avoid social maladaptation among moderately hearing-impaired children.
