In view of the widespread adoption of electronic journalism, this research paper examines the issues of electronic press editing.

In addition, the technical characteristics and features of electronic press editing, as well as the considerations that control it, and highlights the challenges that electronic press editing in the electronic press faces, with the goal of developing a general framework and effective reference to electronic journalists.

The importance of this research paper consists in the fact that it demonstrates the characteristics and foundations of electronic press editing as a current journalistic practice, produced by the data of the digital environment that transferred journalistic writing from linear to electronic writing.

The descriptive analytical approach was used to achieve the study's overall goal of defining concepts and theoretical frameworks for electronic journalistic editing.
