Informal entrepreneurship in Algeria is little studied, despite its significant and growing weight in the national economy.
the aim of our study is to examine formal and informal entrepreneurial activity, paying particular attention to the different aspects surrounding this phenomenon.
this review of the literature has enabled us to identify two possible courses of action to promote the formalisation of enterprises ; firstly, the simplification of institutional procedures through a political and legal system that is more likely to be respected ; and secondly, to support entrepreneurs in the creation of their enterprises.
however, formalising businesses has never been an easy task for governments because the informal sector is a multidimensional phenomenon that requires urgent solutions.

L'entrepreneuriat informel en Algérie est assez peu étudié, en dépit de son poids significatif et croissant dans l'économie nationale le but de notre réflexion consiste à étudier l'activité entrepreneuriale formelle et informelle, en portant une attention particulière sur les différents aspects entourant ce phénomène.
cette revue de a littérature nous a permis de dégager deux possibilités d'action pour favoriser la formalisation des entreprises ; d'abord la simplification des procédures institutionnelles à travers un système politique et juridique plus susceptible d'être respecté.
ensuite, accompagner les entrepreneurs dans la création de leurs entreprises.
néanmoins la formalisation des entreprises n'a jamais été une tâche facile pour les gouvernements car l'informel représente un phénomène multidimensionnel qui impose des solutions urgentes.
