Abstract EN

Classified installations contribute to the economic development of countries ; however there is a negative impact on the environment owing to the nature of their activities.

in order to achieve sustainable development and reconcile the exploitation of classified installations with the preservation of the environment, a special system has been adopted for the exploitation of these installations in law 03-10 of the environment protection ; however it goes through periods which may be an obstacle to achieving the desired goals.

additionally, administrative obstacles and the exclusion of specialized competencies are factors that participated to the delay in achieving the environmental dimension of sustainable development called for by international agreements of the environment protection.
