by training and educating cancer pain patients and providing them with techniques and correct cognitive and behavioral strategies that enable them to manage their pain and qualify them to be active in managing their disease.

the cognitive-behavioral model is one of the models that has gained a great deal of attention in studying the various types of pain, so this article focuses on the most important principles and strategies used in dealing with the problem of cancer pain by knowing the role of cognitive and behavioral factors in affecting pain in cancer patients.
