Abstract EN

This paper aims to clarify the main concepts related to the policy of inflation targeting and the possibility of applying the latter effectively in Algeria, while determining the extent to which the monetary policy tools used can affect the inflation rate, using the quantitative approach specifically using ARDL models.

The study concluded that the effectiveness of the inflation targeting policy lies in the availability of the necessary conditions when applied to achieve the desired results, and that there is a long-term effect between the independent variables and the rate of inflation.
