Cultural heritage is one of the main components of the identity and culture of any society.

It is a distinct cultural form that reflects deep - rooted human characteristics.

In this context, a series of international conventions and instruments have been adopted with a view to valuing and protecting human heritage.

The institutions, in turn, are called upon to engage in definition and to value our national heritage as an effective element of evolution and unity, because of the strength and cohesion it provides, on the one hand, and because it is a source of rich civilization and a source of culture in Algerian society.
