Communication is acivilizational act.It is a basic element in the human life: life itself being a continual communication.

People's languages are different and varied, thus the need for translation that is one of the most important means of communication between peoples and civilizations.

Medical translation is a type of specialized translation, a meeting point between specialists in language and specialists in medicine.

It plays a prominent role in the life of all human beings, be them doctors, patients or even researchers because the matter is about human health.

In this article, we aim at identifying the relationship between medical translation and communication.

We will also show their roles in setting confidence between the patient on the one hand, and the doctor, the nurse and even the pharmacist from the other side.

We will try to give an answer to the following research question: to what extent can medical translation influence the quality of communication in the medical field?
