The present research deals with the distinct stages of parliamentary control over the efficient implementation of the state budget.

This legal oversight process takes place at a prior stage to the implementation, in parallel, and subsequently to it.

Parliamentary control holds as main purpose of preserving the public funds; by accurately identifying the shortcomings, intentionally trying to properly fix them on one hand and identifying the positives, and trying to encourage them on the other hand.
