العوامل المؤدية للتسرب المدرسي لدى تلاميذ المرحلة المتوسطة

Abstract EN

This study aimed to reveal the factors that lead to the school dropout among middle school students, by surveying the opinions of a sample of trainees who had previously abandoned their study and joined vocational training institutions.

The sampleconsisted of (103) traineeresponded to a questionnaire of 40 items distributed onthree axes (social, psychological, and educational factors).

The results showed a set of factors that most affect the school dropout, mainly represented in the poor financial condition of the family, overcome of timidity within the class, grades dissatisfaction, and teachers' interest on the excellent students.

Overall, the results showed that educational factors are the most influential on school dropout compared to others.
