L'équilibre entre la vie professionnelle et vie personnelle est un sujet d'actualité qui fait appel à plusieurs disciplines comme la sociologie, la psychologie, la santé, l'économie, et l'histoire, ainsi que la culture de chaque pays.
En effet cette thématique n'est pas nouvelle, mais de nombreux phénomènes sont en cause, ces derniers faisant en sorte qu'il est devenu de plus en plus difficile aujourd'hui d'équilibrer le monde du travail et la vie privée en terme générale.
