Abstract EN

The study aimed mainly to find out the reality of employing strategic vigilance as an entrance to the strategic direction.

In order to achieve the goal of the study, the researcher relied on the descriptive analytical method to test its hypothesis, as the sample of the study included (70) managers from the administrative leaders in the surveyed organizations at different administrative levels (general manager, assistant general manager, department managers, division managers) and its size was determined by a comprehensive inventory method A questionnaire was used to collect data, and the data was processed statistically based on statistical methods, including (frequencies and percentages, correlation coefficient using Pearson correlation coefficient, multiple regression analysis).

The study showed many conclusions, the most important of which was the achievement of the dimensions of strategic vigilance, statistic all significant correlations with the strategic direction.

These results indicate that the strategic direction depends largely on strategic vigilance, as the more the surveyed organizations tend to adopt the dimensions of vigilance The strategy and its proper uses whenever this contributes for achieving and strengthening the strategic direction.

Relying on the results of the analysis, several recommendations were formulated, and one of the most important recommendation reached by the study is the need for the surveyed organizations to adopt the dimensions of strategic vigilance in their field of work and at all administrative levels according to a purposeful vision in order to achieve strategic direction.
