Abstract EN

The neighbourhood gangs pose a serious threat to the security and safety of individuals and creating an atmosphere of terror and instability within residential neighbourhoods or by imposing control over them through moral or physical abuse of others or endangerment of others' lives, liberty or security, while the Algerian legislature's response to this phenomenon by issuing Order 20-03 of August 2020 relates to prevention and control of neighbourhood gangs, this study aims to identify the content of preventive mechanisms from neighbourhood gangs, where as it used a descriptive and analytical methodologies to arrive at logical explanations and analysis to this content of legal provisions and rules governing the prevention and control of neighbourhood gangs.

To sum up we should apply entirly this order and follow an effective economic policy to eliminate jobless, and providing comprehensive security coverage within neighbourhouds to ensure that it won't widespread once again.
