Abstract EN

The conceptual conformity in translating terms is carried out on two levels: an internal level related to the conformity between the concept of the term as defined in its scientific field and its lexical production.

The external level concerns the conceptual conformity of the term in the two languages, the target and the source.

It also concerns the conformity of the defined perceptions of the terms in the source language with the target language.

The aim of this research is to draw the attention to the necessity of the conformity between the perception in the target language with the perception in the source language, and the same thing with the concept in translating the linguistic term, and the danger to limit the translation process to the lexical comparisons.

While working on this topic, an important question raises; which is, what is the importance of the perceptional and conceptual conformity in translating terms in the modern linguistic Arabic course.

The work is structured on four axes, which are: the problematic of determining the concept of the language term, the importance of determining the perception in the translation of the term, the necessity of defining the concept of the term in translating the linguistic terms into Arabic language, and the relationship between the perception and the concept in translating the Arabic linguistic term
