The aim of the study is to analyze the geological, biological and cultural tourism resources in the study area, identify the eco-tourism infrastructure and assess the negative environmental impacts of some of the Wadi Al-Rayyan and Whale Protectorate's human and economic activities, then apply methods and techniques for the conservation and sustainable spatial management of Wadi Al-Rayan and Wadi Al-Hitan Reserve.

The study concluded that the technique of spatial zoning of the reserve into different ranges of environmental protection and maintenance levels showed the infringement of the St.

Macarius Monastery on the restricted zone in the El-Ayoun and El-Rouyan oasis and the deterioration of the natural conservation zone south of the lower lake.

Traffic management and traffic movement technique within the reserves have categorized the roads into patterns according to traffic size and weight.

It turned out that to contribute to achieving high levels of protection, the strategy of restricted entry and fee imposing needs to be revised.

The study concluded that in order to support sustainable development and stimulate Eco- tourism, the need to establish an Ecolodge in Wadi Al-Rayyan and to develop a geo-park in the Whales Valley was essential.
