The current study aims to determine the role of the academic supervisor in the use of group supervisory meetings to develop the skills of the labor market among students of social work, by relying on the social survey methodology by comprehensive enumeration of academic supervisors from faculty members, their assistants and external supervisors in the department of work with groups-college of social work-Helwan university, and their number is (34) supervisors, and the social survey using the intentional sampling method for the students of the fourth year, for students who are training under the supervision of supervisors in the department of work with groups-faculty of social work-Helwan university, and their number is (289) students, the results of the study showed that the level of the role of the academic supervisor in using group supervisory meetings to develop labor market skills (time management, teamwork) among social work students is high.
