The research is based on the linguistic term translated into Arabic, since linguistics is a western science, we learned about it through translation.

the Arabic reader has encountered a wide range of linguistic terms, which have become a confounding factor in the reception of western linguistics.

therefore, this study tries to follow the reality of the translation of the linguistic term, and clarify the reasons for the difference in translation of a single foreign term and the multiplicity of Arabic equivalents, and then reveal the results of the translation of the linguistic terms into Arabic, and finally mentioning some solutions that would reduce the problem of the term and its plurality in the Arab world.
