Abstract EN

This article deals with the phenomenon of semantic deviation and its aesthetic impact in the poem entitled Chakwa al Assimi by Mohammed el Bachir al Ibrahimi.

this is a practical study in which I try to shed light on the aesthetic impact produced by semantic deviations such as metaphor, comparison and metonymy, relying on the descriptive method by means of analysis as a procedural tool.

this study reached conclusions, the most important of which are : the deviations carry out the semantic passage from one rank to another rank, in other words the passage from the denotative meanings of the words to the connotative meanings which attract the attention of the receiver, especially since these semantic deviations are actually language structures of a very strong figurative style characterized by connotative condensation and semantic synthesis.
