Abstract EN

The study aims to know the degree to which the local community evaluates the performance of the state people's assembly of Tissemsilt, for the electoral term (2017-2021), as the current assembly emanating from the November 2021 elections is a recent inauguration ,this study was carried out in the light of demographic variables : gender, age, educational qualification, class regression, occupation, and in order to achieve its study objectives, the questionnaire was used as one of the data collection and analysis tools, by means of the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) program for a sample of the local community composed of out of (415) citizens, and through it we concluded that there is a difference in evaluating the performance of the wilaya popular council according to demographic variables due to the variables of age and educational qualification, and that the local community evaluates it average for the performance of the wilaya popular council, and the reasons for its low level of performance are due to the lack of competence of its members, the absence of democracy participation, and the expansion of administrative centralization.
