Abstract EN

This study tends to show the level of stress at work and emotional intelligence of head managers as well as the relationship between them.

Having regard of the type of this topic, we used the descriptive method which seems best appropriate, Thus, we focused on the following criteria: Work stress level (indications); emotional intelligence drawn up by Mohamed Ibrahim FADAH and Djamel Abdelfatah EL- ASSAF.

The statistical analysis based on the statistical program for social sciences that led to the following results: High level of stress; Inverse relationship of work-stress and emotional intelligence for Algerian executive managers.
