Abstract EN

Cultural security is a determinant of any state's national security, since it represents the parameters of national identity.

and thus it is the source of the continued survival of states, especially in the light of new threats, particularly globalization, which tries in every way to rebut culture and to erode the values, customs and traditions of society by creating extraneous values and cultures that adversely affect national identity.

from this point of view, our study will address the central problem of shedding light on the various challenges posed by cultural globalization to the states of the Maghreb region.

to address this issue, the study required the use of the analytical descriptive approach by monitoring and analysing most of the constraints imposed by cultural globalization on the Arab region in order to find solutions and effective ways to protect the latter from the risk of identity erosion.
