The issue of societal security and media identity assumes increasing importance, and this importance increases to the features of the western cultural model.

in the Algerian case, this hegemony is presented with an identity that passes through multiple internal and external threats.

a good deal with globalization requires benefiting from technology, redoubling efforts against what contributes to the dissolving of local culture in accordance with alien western values, it also calls for more attention to social integration and the dangers of directing societal loyalty.

weak trust may be exploited to threaten social solidarity.

the research work concluded that dealing with the media in light of globalization and its effects must take advantage of the opportunities of rationality that it provides.

being introverted, and keeping pace with the demands of the times while finding solutions to threats to local culture and identity.
