Through this research paper entitled : “the anthropological method in the study of the virtual society”, we will try to approximate the anthropological approach to studying and understanding virtual society, which has become necessitated by research and exploration in its folds to reveal its secrets and the laws that govern its actors.

in the same context, we will review the most important technical tools on which the researcher relies on penetrate this social / digital environment and dive into its corridors to explore and to collect the necessary data that allows the researcher to draw a clear vision about the subject of his study.

finally, we will present the most prominent anthropological tools that would contribute to facilitating the process of collecting data in the virtual field and then analyzing and interpreting them.
