Abstract EN

This study aims to identify how Qais mode of Quran recitation differ from other recitation ways in terms of kinemics and Arabic null vowel, attempting to justify such variation through lexical analysis and consonant kinemics and null vowel realization.

the study consists of an introduction and four sections.

the first section deals with null vowel realization (sukoon), while the second section focuses on accusative case marker fatah diacritic.

the third section is concerned with the genitive case marker kasr .

the fourth section discusses the nominative case marker of dham.

the study concluded that Quran modes of recitations showed frequent and rare lexical kinetic and null vowel variations and that Qais recitation mode was not associated with a particular reciter.

the study also demonstrated that word association with a particular case marker explains the consistency of the words dealt with in the study.
