Abstract EN

This study aims to identify some types of verbal and stylistic collocation consistency shortage in grammar books as opposed to those manifested in al-Imran Surah , paying attention to the impact of such absent collocational consistency.

Combining both theory and application, the study is organized into two sections.

the first section deals with the effect of absent verbal collocations consistency either in inseparable or separable forms the second section is concerned with the impact of absent stylistic collocation consistency both in predicative statement and structural styles collocations.

the study revealed that verbal and stylistic collocations are lacking in grammar and syntax books when compared to the Quranic text as evidenced in al-Imran Surah.

Stylistic collocations were lacking in inherent forms more than inherent ones, while verbal collocations shortage was limited to the transitivity of the verb to the object with a letter or by itself.
