Protecting the environment as a common heritage of humanity, and its natural resources from depletion, extinction and pollution, besides pollutions damage and crimes committed against it, towards social welfare, reflect the reality of environmental security concept however this concept is practically linked to legislative policies which protect the constitutional human rights to a sound environment.

in all cases, the mechanisms of criminal law are necessary, given the seriousness of the environmental accelerative crimes, through the specificity of environmental criminalization, penal monitoring and punishment.

to asurate the present generation needs and take in consideration the share of future generations, towards a sustainable development, which we tried to address the kind of shortcut, objects of a modest personal opinion, we saw it useful to strengthen the criminal law mechanisms in order to achieve environmental security in the context of sustainable development.
