Abstract EN

Through this research paper, we tried to reveal the attitudes of secondary school third year learners towards the educational communication skills prevailing among mathematics teachers in private schools for support classes and the quality of their teaching performance.

in this study we relied on classes of secondary school third year students who have received support lessons in mathematics at the private support school of Betalfa throughout the academic year 2021 / 2022.

the analysis of their answers was based on the triple Likert scale.

after collecting and processing the information using statistical methods and analyzing tables, we reached the following results: -support lessons are widely spread among secondary school students, especially the final classes, and in all disciplines (scientific and literary), especially in mathematics.

-the existence of a difference in the level of academic achievement of mathematics among students before and after attending support classes and is evident because of the positive impact of these lessons on students' academic achievement.

-educational communication skills are considered one of the most important elements in the success of the process of cognitive achievement among students.

the more effective the educational communication between the teacher and the student, the better and valuable will be the achievement result.

therefore, attention must be paid to emphasizing the communication skills of mathematics teachers because of their role in the quality of performance teaching and thus, influence academic achievement in mathematics, including the success of the educational process.
