Abstract EN

The aim of this study is identify the nature of the relationship between parental rearing styles and psychosocial conflict, and to identity the differences between the level of psychosocial conflict between the sexes.

the sample of this study is composed of (186) students from the secondary school in Tebessa city.

the study showed the following results: 1-there is negative correlation between these parental rearing styles (discrimination, authoritarianism, hesitation, styles of overprotection) whether in the father or the mother and the psychosocial conflict in adolescents, also there is a significant positive correlation whether in the father or the mother and the psychosocial conflict but there was significant correlation between father styles of overprotection and psychological security.

2-there is no statistically significant differences in the level of psychosocial conflict between the sexes.
