One of the mechanisms approved by the Algerian legislator to prove and protect private real estate ownership is the mechanism of the real estate book, which surrounded it with a number of guarantees and legal immunizations to make it the only legal document that gives the property owner the right to dispose of it, just as real estate ownership and its protection in surveyed areas can only be proven through it, because of the absolute authority it possesses in the face of all other documents, and this was confirmed by the legislator and followed his approach to the judiciary, but despite the authority that the real estate book possesses, it remains a relative authority in front of the non-surveyed properties, as well as in front of what is known as the statute of limitations.
