Abstract EN

This study dealt with the issue of the legal adaptation of digital drugs and its impact on the establishment of criminal responsibility, where the massive information technology revolution during the previous years had an important role that helped in the spread of digital drugs, the latter effect of which can be comparable to its traditional counterpart, which requires subjecting it to proper legal characterization by the legislator penal.

in the conclusion of the study, we concluded that due to the novelty of this phenomenon, the criminal legislation did not include provisions to criminalize the acts of production, promotion, purchase and use of this type of digital drug, so its use is permissible despite the negative effects of this phenomenon.
