This research study aims to know how to consider the role of subsidiary institutions that can be established by university institutions in Algeria, in the development and development of the knowledge economy, similar to the rest of the institutions in the country.

this is because the knowledge economy is currently receiving exceptional attention and has become a stand-alone science based on different elements and foundations, keeping pace with the technological and digital transformation that the contemporary world knows, on the one hand, and the position of university institutions among state institutions in general, given their enormous and advanced human and material capabilities that it abounds, which qualifies it to develop this digital economy, as some call it, on the other hand.
