In 2009, the mediterranean architecture laboratory (LAM) under the auspices of the university of Setif in collaboration with the zamani project research team of cape town university undertook two fieldwork campaigns on the site of Djemila.
using laser scanning and photogrammetry, as well as panoramic photography and satellite images.
this unique experiment was successful and resulted in a series of high quality 3 D models.
the present work is part of this same dynamic, with the aim of publicizing and promoting the unprecedented visual and spatial documentation produced on Djemila and, at the same time, popularizing the use of this set of tools linked to the new high performance techniques.
the interest would therefore be first of all pedagogical in the content of our field of activity, and then strategic for all potential actors operating in the field of "archaeological heritage".

En 2009, le laboratoire architecture méditerranéenne (LAM) sous couvert de l'université de Sétif1 en collaboration avec l'équipe de recherche Zamani project2 de l'université cap Town ont entrepris deux compagnes de terrain sur le site de Djemila.
En usant de l'aide du balayage laser et de la photogrammétrie, ainsi que la photographie panoramique et des images satellitaires.
Cette expérience unique était fructueuse et a permis de mettre au jour une série de modèles 3D3 de haute qualité.
Le présent travail s'inscrit dans cette même dynamique, dans le but de faire connaitre et promouvoir l'inédite documentation visuelle et spatiale réalisée sur Djemila4 et en même temps, vulgariser l'usage de cet ensemble d'outils liés aux nouvelles techniques performantes.
L'intérêt serait donc avant tout d'ordre pédagogique contenu de notre domaine d'activité, ensuite stratégique pour tous les acteurs potentiels opérant dans le domaine du « patrimonial archéologique »5.
