This study revolves around the mechanisms stipulated by the Algerian legislator in law 06-01 in order to limit the serious abuses committed by the public official in public deals, which are considered one of the main reasons for reducing competition, as this law gave a broad concept to the public official compared to the law the basic role of the public office in order to expand the area of responsibility for each person who concludes or participates in the process of concluding the public deal, and he criminalized these acts that negatively affected the public deal, and imposed deterrent penalties in order to confront these crimes.

in return, the legislator took a set of preventive measures that it contributes to reducing this phenomenon and contributes to placing the public servant in the best conditions and protecting him from falling into these crimes.
