This research paper seeks to adjust the functional pattern of civil society as a fixed variable, while attempting to understand the most important standard indicators of its effectiveness and role in building society.

to extend to new topics related to many issues with a political, economic, cultural and legal dimension, and they dealt with issues of human rights and civil liberties, with the presentation of a case study of Algerian civil society institutions, which highlights their role in demanding the promotion of human rights and defending basic rights and freedoms with an attempt to highlight the most important structural and functional challenges and difficulties facing civil society.
