In the constitutional amendment of 2020, the constitutional founder created a constitutional court, which is an independent constitutional institution in charge of monitoring the constitutionality of law and ensuring respect for the constitution and its highness, to replace the constitutional council.

unlike the constitutional council, which had a role in the electoral process, we also find that the constitutional court has many powers that touched the course of the electoral process from its inception to the announcement of the final results, compromising the transparency of the voting, and therefore it can be said that the constitutional court occupies a very sensitive position in preserving the votes of the electorate and embodying their choice on the ground, away from the manipulations that make the elections subject to doubt and not being accepted by the citizens.
