This research paper aims to explore the efforts of the Algerian researcher said Butajine in narrative semiotics, through the application of the factor theory in a semiotic study of the novel “tomorrow is a new day” of Ibn Haduqa as a case study.

indeed, he focuses on his critical cod and blog in addition to the procedures that were identified by Greimas.

the researcher tried to apply the factor theory in Ibn Haduqa's novel “tomorrow is a new day” in which she included the following elements : (factorial demarcations, factorial glides, and factorial triangles).

in deed, the researcher relied on a specific critical reference besides a precise and Consize analytical procedures through which she wanted to shed light on the major structures of the novelistic text “tomorrow is a new day” and its significance to reveal its deepest structure while ignoring the minor structures.
