Our article deals with contemporary Algerian poetry, given the artistic and literary values it contains that made the poetic discourse a profound one, bearing many connotations and multiple readings.

the poets who were affected by the Sufi experience, so most of his poems came loaded with deep connotations, expressing the painful reality that the country witnessed, and his poem “there is nothing in the robe but the sea” establishes that.

perhaps his influence on the old Sufi experience and his attempt to create a new poetic text based on a mixture of Sufi and poetic experience made his poetic text open and developed.
