Abstract EN

Sufism, with its concepts and philosophy, as well as the manifestations of social life in its structure, is a reference to which the Arab novelist returns to imbue himself with the values of tolerance and human transcendence, and to define his vision of the world.

the novel entitled : "the pure saint returns to his honorable position" is considered as one of the good examples within it Sufi concepts emerge.

in this study, we have tried to identify the most important features of Sufi thought contained in this work, namely : the Sufi mandate, the state of its types, and the station, based on that on the statements of Sufi thought regarding it, and then interrogating the novelist's discourse to find out how it relates to those concepts to reveal the novelist's position on the events of Islamic history and their repercussions on the Arab present.
