The literary text in the secondary education stage represents one of the important sources in teaching language and literature, as it is the starting point and source for teaching all linguistic tributaries such as grammar, morphology, rhetoric, prosody, criticism...etc.

thus, many researchers and scholars pay great attention to texts by analyzing them, studying their methods, and appreciating their aesthetics and rhetorical art.

in view of this extreme importance that the literary text occupies in the educational-learning process, it has become exploited in achieving important educational, ethical and social aims, through the purposeful values its contents carry, including those related to the development of cognitive and emotional aspects of the learner, and those related to deepening his textual and critical competencies and expanding his cultural knowledge.as a matter of fact, we decided to reveal the importance of critical practice in analyzing and understanding the literary text and the extent of its impact on the recipient.
