it was formed by the singer Cachini, the musician Jacopo peri, the composer Emilio Di Farneau and the musician Fionestgalilei, it came as a result of excessive nostalgia for their glory of the romans, so they worked to revive their cultural, heritage and reflect their legends and literature through it.

in view of the success achieved by the opera in Italy, then in France, England and the rest of the European countries and the world, I sought to address is concept, origin and development in order to answer the following question : what are the features and characteristics of this hybrid genre ?
