Abstract EN

The reality of field practice in Algerian prisons shows that Algeria has considerably in respect human rights in punitive establishment, but it is worth noting that embodiment of these rights had many repercussions on functional performance of prisons administration staff.

this study aims to shed light on the implications of prisoner’s rights on functional performance of prison administration staff, among the most important results obtained; it is the contribution of respect for rights of prisoner to consolidation of concept of dynamic security, and difficulty of reconciling between respecting the rights of the prisoner and imposing rules of order and discipline.
