The objective of the enshrining of the principles of integration and cooperation in the status of the international criminal court is to prevent impunity from criminal responsibility and to promote cooperation between states in order to fight against the most serious crimes against the international community; they are also fundamental principles in highlighting the status of the international criminal court in the international community, as the court does not have an executive body that ensures the implementation of its decisions and judgments, but relies on the cooperation of states parties.

this cooperation is supported by the complementary jurisdiction of the cour, as it is an extension of the judicial system of states parties, implementing its decisions through the judicial organs of states parties and in cooperation between them and states.
