Corruption is one of the most widespread crimes and threatens the stability of countries.

after Algeria ratified the united nations convention against corruption, and in order to effectively prevent and combat this crime, it enacted a law for this crime, which came with a set of preventive and punitive measures, investigation methods, and the body in charge of preventing and combating corruption, international cooperation and asset recovery.

this critical study of the algerian anti-corruption law presents the concept of corruption in terms of its definition and causes, and a detailed assessment of its preventive and punitive measures.
