Given the status of women and their importance in the family and society, interest in them has increased and the promotion of their rights in various social, political, economic, cultural and other fields… the international community has been striving for women's rights and demanding equality between them and men in many fields, and Algeria has proceeded in this way since independence and she worked hard to protect women from all forms of discrimination by adopting and ratifying international charters on the one hand, and enacting laws to protect them and guarantee their rights within society on the other hand.
