Algeria was known through several constitutional stages, the dominance of the executive authority, which weakened the legislative process and imbalance between the two authorities, and with the constitutional amendment of 2016, the legislator tried to amend the legislative work of the executive authority to allow the parliament to exercise its original role.

and the 2020 amendment came to reinforce these restrictions and set them in special cases and repentance.

it also strengthens tribal care over legislation by orders, as well as post-monitoring to curb the abuse of the executive authority, and affirms the primary role of parliament as a maker of legislation, as well as creating balance and confirming the principle of separation of powers.
