In this study, we tried to shed light on economic corruption and its negative impact on investment in general, with a focus on the most important institutional mechanisms in Algerian legislation.

this indicator indicated that Algeria ranked 117 out of 180 countries in 2021 and here the need to define the role of the independent supreme authority to prevent and combat corruption in cooperation with the national center for the suppression of corruption appears, as an attempt to show the failure of these bodies to play a role in improving the investment climate in order to assess the Algerian experience in the field of combating economic corruption and compare its efforts with those exerted in some countries with pioneering experiences.
