This article highlights a number of questions about the narrative levels and how they are formed in the narrative discourse, this is done by addressing three levels, the level of the apparent text; the superficial level and the deep level, adopting a semiotic approach to the speech of the "rebellious nurse" by Mohamed Salah el-Din, this speech, which the novelist considers as one of the epics of Algeria, records the heroic struggle of the Algerian people to regain their independence and national sovereignty; and his glorious revolutionary history full of heroism, and through these narrative discourse levels we concluded that the structure of the narrative in the, rebellious nurse" is a construction of meaning from the surface to the depth, expressing the heroic sacrifice of the revolutionaries of the Algerian liberation revolution.
