Abstract EN

The goal of this research is revealing the biography of the researcher Abdul- Moumen Benali who had a great knowledge in the fields of religious, scientific and literary culture.

for this, we pose the following question: how did this personality help to push forward the advancing the Mowahidiya cultural and civilizational process? in order to answer this question, we relied on a group of sources and references, so we divided our research into two sections, the first dealt with the definition of this scientist and his scientific life while the second focused on exploring the cultural situation of his country, and presenting cultural and civilizational achievements that he achieved in his town.

so we had several conclusions, the biography and the achievements of the researcher; thanks to him, the alMoahidin state was established and the Islamic Maghreb countries match their counterparts in the Mashreq and Andalusia.
