The Quranic discourse uses the approach of argumentation as a device to persuade the addressees and produce an effect on them so as to attract them to the way of guidance and truth.

It invloves clear evidence and conclusive proofs that ensure persuasion and reassurance.

Hence, studying the nature of Quranic discourse and its argumentation is necessary to gain knowledge of its hidden implications.

The focus of this current research is to see how argumentative the Quranic discourse is, identify its prominent features and highlight the most important argumentation mechanisms that are used in it.
